Planting is a very rewarding task. Once you see the budding pushing out of the soil, you know that you have a green thumb. You tend to it daily, watering it, taking out the weeds and even talking or even singing to it. What becomes even more rewarding is when we plant fruits and vegetables that give us food to eat. squash seeds are very good examples of this yielding crop. There a variety to choose from. We have the hybrid sees which are round squash and can be green or yellow in color. There are also summer squash like the sunbeam and the white bush scallop. There are winter squash like the crown prince and spaghetti. There are also the staples like the courgette black beauty, acorn table queen and the Waltham butternut seeds. Outside Living and Dining, My Dream Abode

If money was no object, I would make the back yard area of my house a total and complete oasis. You name it… gazebos, fountains, a pool, a hot tub, lush vegetation including bamboo and Hawaiiana touches. There is something absolutely great about being outside when the weather is cooperative. Dining outdoors, be it the result of a barbecue or bringing the gourmet meal from inside outside is a reaaly great thing. I would love to install an enclosed patio and also have other seating areas throughout the yard for more options. We already have a wrought iron fireplace out there, but without any real atmosphere it is hard to truly enjoy as it is now.My home was bought and everything we put into it was on the inside. I would love to nuture the outside of the home so it can be a real getaway that we can look forwaard to entering regularly.But, money IS an object right now…but we will get there!

Fennel Herb Recipes: How to Cook Cider Braised Pork and Fennel

Prepare the following ingredients to cook Cider Braised Pork and Fennel: 1 kilogram of pork loin, chopped. 2 pieces of fennel, sliced. 700 millilitre of cider, dried. 1 piece of brown onion, sliced. 1 stick of celery, chopped. 1 teaspoon of garlic, crushed. 2 pieces of green chillies, sliced. 30 grams of butter, unsalted. 200 grams of French style lentils, Dashes of Salt and pepper. Roast the pork chops. Set the slice fennel, garlic, celery and brown onion at the bottom portion of the oven proof dish. Put the pork chops over the vegetables. Drizzle with green chillies. Cover with cider then roast for 15 to 20 minutes with 250 degrees temperature. Place lentils in a large pot and add water. Wait until it boils and let it simmer for 30 minutes. Add unsalted butter and Fennel Herb. Remove the roasted pork from the oven. Put the liquid residues from the oven in a fry pan. Set the heat to medium low. Bring to boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set the lentils on a platter, put the roasted pork over sided with braised vegetables. Serve with sauce.
