For many people the island of Mykonos is the perfect gay destination especially for men who are gay. This affects the island significantly as many hotels and mykonos villas to rent are declaring themselves as gay friendly accommodation in order to attract more customers. The island has a great setup to accept gay people as many restaurant and bars are also gay only, so there is room for gay people on the island.
The peak on gay travelers for mykonos is the end of August where there are some gay festivities on the island and gay couples travel from all over the world to watch the happenings and take part. This is something that the island is really looking forward to, because it is just after the end of the busy season where many Greek travelers spend their holiday on the islands, and things are starting to subside. So right where the low season is about to get its grips on the islands, the gay festival takes it again high for a week.
The good thing is that you will find that the locals are very friendly about it; the island and those who live by it keep an open mind about things such as homosexuality and all this. Basically because they are merchants; most of them are fed by tourism and whatever the trend brings to the island, they will simply have to suck it up. If they wish the gay traveler to carry on to rent that hotel room and rent a villa in mykonos to bring those bookings coming in, there are no alternatives.
So overall yes, it is a perfect gay destination, although it is a bit expensive and we must admit that it may be more expensive than Ibiza or the Canary islands. But the overall setup is different than this if Spanish destinations.

Truck campers combine the features of a truck and of a camping trailer. Truck campers fit into the box of a truck and turn the space into living area on wheels. These truck campers can be removed and placed on a storage stand when not in use and the truck can be used normally. The truck camper can be used off the truck as well if it is placed securely on its stand. They are deceiving because they do not look like they could hold very much. Some can sleep as many as six people and have a small kitchen as well. They can be stocked and ready to load on the truck very easily for a fast get away.
There are different sizes of truck campers but most of them extend out over the top of the truck cab. The added space provides a large sleeping area or storage space for camping supplies on your trip. Most truck campers will also have a small kitchen table that collapses and turns into sleeping space. The design of space is very efficient and includes most things a full size trailer will. It will also be much warmer than tents are and possibly even have a heater for very cold weather.
One big advantage to using truck campers is that the truck may be able to take you to spots that a car hauling a trailer could not go. A four wheel drive truck with a truck camper on it may be able to take a few back roads and paths that a car hauling a trailer would have trouble with.

My idea of a vacation is always on a beach. I really love to see the vast horizon with the blue-green sea in my view. I can really sleep well with the sound of waves on the shore. Most importantly, the fresh air that fills my lungs feels so healthy. I even thought to live near a beach when I retire. But that is still decades from now. Meanwhile, my next vacation would be in Phuket, Thailand where I heard had lovely beaches to boast. My itinerary includes a few days in the city before heading for the beaches. The Hotels Phuket are aplenty and I am not surprised to see luxury and first class hotels in the city. I would surely love to stay in one of these hotels for a few days before I would be spending more days on the beach. I shall not forget to bring a good stock of sunblock.

As a product-trainer, I was to be sent to Irving, Texas to conduct a two-week training for our newly opened branch site. Management told me to go ahead and choose my preferred airline and accommodation. It will be my first time in Irving and because I was not familiar with any hotels, I had to consult a friend living there. He recommended that I stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Irving because it is only a few minutes drive from our new office. He said that his family stayed there for a few days and they were very contented and happy with all the amenities and services. Each suite has a living area, kitchen, and bedroom. Since it would be winter, I can opt for a suite with a fireplace. There is cable TV and Wi-Fi connection for free. An outdoor pool is also available aside from the jacuzzi, laundry facilities and shops.
